• Click the + button in the upper right-hand corner of app.fieldnimble.com the same as you would to create a new job, a new contact or new property.
  • Click New Calendar Event
  • On this screen you can name the schedule block (ex. Vacation, Weekly Meeting, Dr. Appointment, etc.), select which employee to apply the block to and set your date/time.

For a one-time schedule block:

For one-time schedule blocks such as a doctor appointment, you'd simply select the employee, the date of which you'd like the block to be on, the start time of the block, the duration of the block itself and then give the block a name.

The screenshot below shows an example of a Doctors Appointment scheduled for Joey from 2PM-3:30PM on 2/7/18.

This calendar event would show like so on the dispatch board:

If you wanted to block an entire day off of Joey's schedule, you could do so by selecting the date, and checking the "All Day" checkbox.

For a recurring schedule block:

For a recurring schedule block such as a weekly meeting, you'd simply select the employee, the date of which you'd like the blocks to start on, the start time of the blocks, the duration of the blocks, give the block a name and then check the Recurring checkbox.  

  • When you click the Recurring check box, additional menu items will appear.  With these, you can select the days of the week that you'd like this block to take place as well as how long you'd like this block to occur for.

If you wanted to schedule a weekly Staff Meeting for Joey that occurred from 8-9AM every Monday, the settings would look like so:

For a several day schedule block:

For blocking off several days in a row similar to a vacation, you'd simply select the employee, the date of which you'd like the block to start on, the start time of the block, the duration of the block, give the block a name and then check the Recurring checkbox. 

  • When you click the Recurring check box, additional menu items will appear.  With these, you can select the days of the week that you'd like this block to take place as well as how long you'd like this block to occur for.

If you wanted to schedule Vacation time for Joey that starts on 2/4/17 and goes until 2/11/17, the settings would look like so:
